Payne's Down Cottage is a newly built property in a quiet location with beautiful views situated on the borders of Dorset, Devon and Somerset.
The situation is ideal for visiting a variety of local attractions including Dorset's World Heritage 'Jurassic' Coastline, Abbotsbury Swannery, West Bay and Lyme Regis, Cricket St. Thomas Wildlife Park, Forde Abbey and Gardens etc. etc.
We also have good local walks and on our adjoining land we have a herd of Alpacas.
All our rooms are en-suite.
A full English breakfast is included in the rate.
There is ample on site parking.

Directions
From Crewkerne travel approx 6 miles on the Lyme Regis road to Birdsmoorgate. Turn right at the crossroads immediately on entering Birdsmoorgate, towards Thorncombe and Chard. We are the first property on the right (approx. 200 yards) after this crossroads.

At Broadwindsor take the Lyme Regis road for approx 3 miles whereupon you will come to a cross roads at Birdsmoorgate continue straight across towards Thorncombe and Chard for approx. 200 yards, where you will find us - the first property on the right.
