Bed And Breakfast's own web site
Standing in a large garden with unspoilt views of open farmland and distant hills, Highfield enjoys a pleasant rural situation just 1½ miles along the Ivington Road from the old market town of Leominster. Built in Edwardian times, it is now the home of twins Catherine and Marguerite Fothergill.

Guests are at liberty to use either of the two sitting rooms; one with television and French windows opening onto the patio, the other receives the morning sun and houses the 'Tourist Information Library'.

We enjoy food and describe ourselves as natural cooks so the meals are lovingly prepared from good fresh ingredients, (usually using local produce - particularly beef, pork, lamb and chicken) and delightfully served in our charming dining room. As our aim is for every body to be contented, we are happy to cater for all gastranomic needs.

There are three bedrooms for visitors: two with twin beds and one with a double bed. All rooms have delightful aspects and are supplied with hair dryers, radio alarm clocks and tea / coffee making facilities. One twin room has a bathroom en-suite with WC. The other two have wash basins with private facilities across the landing (a shower room with WC and a bathroom with WC). Usually the first people to book have the choice of bath or shower leaving the shower or bath free for the other people who book.

We do provide light dressing gowns in these rooms.

Guests are asked not to smoke in the bedroom, and to respect the wishes of non-smokers who are staying.

The house is centrally heated but for the chillier seasons there are open fires in the sitting rooms and extra heating in the bedrooms should it be necessary.

There is plenty of parking space for cars in the grounds.

We hope that guests feel relaxed and at home.
