Elim Lodge is an attractive, traditional slate house in a quiet side street close to the centre of Bowness. Family run, we aim to provide our guests with relaxed friendly service. We provide an excellent breakfast, made using largely locally sourced quality ingredients together with Fairtrade Tea, Coffee and sugar.
The rooms are furnished in a mixture of modern and traditional, with cleanliness being our watchword. We aim to provide good value accomodation, with a range of room types catering for single, double, families and small groups of outdoor enthusiasts, with a mixture of ensuite and standard rooms. Responsible dog owners are welcome, by prior arrangement. The pretty garden to the front of Elim Lodge is open to our guests and is a real sun trap in the summer.
We are open all year round, with excellent value deals during the off season.
Bowness is the ideal centre for a Lake District break, with shops and places to eat within walking distance, and all the major attractions and outdoor activities easily accessible by car or public transport. Very knowledgable about the Lakes, we are always on hand to give advice on what to do and where to go. In addition, our guests get free use of the Parklands Leisure Club at the Burnside Hotel.
