Dhailling Lodge - an oasis of comfort, hospitality, good food and fine wine.
Dhailling Lodge offers the perfect location for those seeking a few days solace from the hirly burly of city life or a base from which to explore the beautiful Cowal Peninsula and historic Argyll. Ideally situated on the sea front, yet only a few minutes walk from the centre of Dunoon, Dhailling Lodge has recently beem refurbished to a high standard of comfort.
The seven fresh and airy en-suite bedrooms, situated on the first floor, have central heating, colour TV, electric blankets, hairdryer, bath-robes and hospitality trays.
The patio and landscaped garden offer a panoramic view of the Firth of Clyde and there is ample car parking space within the grounds.
However you choose to spend your days, you are guaranteed a warm welcome from genial hosts, Donald and Fraser.
The lounge and intimate dining room, both overlooking the Firth of Clyde, have an ambiance of warmth and relaxed charm. Aperitifs and canapes are served in the lounge prior to dinner, and while there is no bar, a restricted licence allows guests to be served drinks and wine.
The dinner menu changes daily and is based on traditional Scottish fayre with an international twist. The very best of produce is used, locally sourced where possible, and a collection of wines have been selected, both to complement the dishes and to appeal to most palates.
