The Eastbourne is a large victorian lakeland stone guest house offering 5 star (visit Britain) quality bed and breakfast accomodation. Recently refurbished to the highest standards, Eastbourne offers private parking and seven well appointed, centrally heated, en-suite bedrooms.
Bedrooms comprise five large, superior doubles all with comfy sofas and two standard doubles. All are fitted with tea/coffee/hot chocolate making facilities, tv, radio alarm clock and hairdryer. For your added enjoyment all our rooms have a D.V.D player and we have a complimentary D.V.D library to choose from.
Our hearty breakfasts consist of gold award winning sausages and dry cured bacon from our local butcher and we also cater for vegetarians. There is a choice of cereal, fresh fruit salad and yoghurts.

We are situatated just below the picturesque viewpoint of Biskey Howe where you can enjoy the many walks and the panoramic views across the fells and lakes. Ours is a quiet yet convenient area of Bowness-on-Windermere - a short stroll will take you to Lake Windermere as well as the many restaurants, shops and local attractions of Bowness.
We are in a perfect location for many of the local walks such as Post Knott, School Knott, Brantfell and Orrrest Head which all offer fantastic views of Lake Windermere, Coniston old man and the Langdale pikes. There are many well known local attractions to visit such as Beatrix Potter and Wiliam Wordsworth and many historical buildings to visit with beautiful gardens.

Travelling from the north or south:
Leave the M6 motorway at junction 36 and take the A591 to windermere. From there drive down into Bowness centre until you reach the police station on the left.
Take the second left after this into Biskey Howe Road.
The Eastbourne is on the right at the next crossroads.
