Holly Lodge, built in 1854, is one of the oldest houses in Windermere. We are situated just off the main road in the village, in a quiet position, close to shops, restaurants, buses and the train station. We are about one mile from Lake Windermere.
Anne and Barry Mott offer a personal and friendly service. We serve full English breakfast (vegetarian option too) which includes cereals, fruit and local yoghurt.
Our rooms are all en-suite, with full central heating, hospitality trays, colour T.Vs and hairdryers. Cots and high chairs are available.
We have a cosy lounge with a piano, books and papers (no T.V.!) and an open fire on cooler evenings - perfect after a days walking.
We offer parking for seven cars and free parking in our quiet road.
We can provide packed lunches on request and have drying facilities for wet boots and coats!
We request rooms be vacated by 10.00am but luggage may be left safely. We appreciate arrivals either before 1.00.pm or after 6.00pm where at all possible.
