We'll give you a friendly welcome, hearty home cooking with free-range eggs from our hens, and a chance to relax by the seasonal log fires in the oak-beamed lounge.

From our gate there are footpaths and trails to woods, lakes, waterfalls and fells, with opportunities for walking, biking, boating, fishing and bird watching...or simply relaxing.
There are nearby riding stables. Additionally, in Grizedale there are the renowned woodland sculpture trails and a lively Forest Centre with museum, restaurant, bike hire and the popular treetop adventure 'Go Ape'.
Cumbria's other mountains and lakes, the coast, and countless visitor amenities are within very easy reach.

M6 J36 - Take A590 towards Barrow-in-Furness.
At Greenodd take A5092 towards Workington, but then within half mile turn right for Oxen Park.
Follow this road for 6 miles to reach Force Mill - large sign outside.
