Brookfield House is a four star AA rated guest house, ideally located for exploring the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. Windermere, Hawswater and Ullswater are within easy driving distance. We're situated very close to the M6 Motorway (turn off at Junction 39) and midway between Kendal and Penrith. The guest house is also an excellent location for breaking journies between north and south.
There are spectacular views from the front of the house looking over the fells and local farmland. We have a large car park and are a totally non-smoking B&B.
We have a residents lounge and well stocked bar. Breakfast is served in a spacious dining room and we have a reputation for serving delicious home cooking.
The en suite bedrooms are extremely well appointed and have remote colour T.Vs radio alarms, hospitality trays and hairdryers.
