Appletree House is named for the special tree that grows in our large garden and which frames the view of Glastonbury Abbey. We pride ourselves on the peaceful atmosphere of our rooms and the comfort of our beds! Most of our guests comment on the fact that they sleep so calmly and so well. Each room has tv/vcr/satellite, wireless connectivity for Internet access, in-room drinks tray and adjustable heating for your own comfort, as well as unique art work.
We are two minutes from the Tor, Chalice Well and the centre of Glastonbury itself. Our beautiful garden backs onto the Abbey grounds with its lovely views. We also have lots of car parking space and you can leave your car all day without worry while you sample the special delights within the Isle of Avalon.
# 2 mins to the Tor and Chalice Well and the town, with large garden, free car park & secure bike facilities
# Themed ensuite double and twin rooms and two single rooms.
# Vegetarian and vegan breakfasts, as well as full English, with healing juices provided on request. We can also cater for special diets by prior arrangement.
Breakfast, made to your own requirements, is taken in the conservatory with its fabulous views of the garden and the myriad of wildlife that feeds round the apple tree and the Abbey. We are open all year round, provide walking sticks for the Tor (and umbrellas too when necessary). We are here to make your stay in this wonderful place a delight and joy.
We have one double room with a super-kingsized bed and ensuite facilities, one twin with bathroom and two single/double rooms with their own huge private bathroom with bath and corner shower cubicle. There are more photos on our own website (see link above).
Stay and relax in luxurious comfort in the magical Isle of Avalon. Weave yourself a space in your life for amazing things to happen.
