The Denes is a licensed 4 Diamond Guest House situated in Lynton, North Devon. Our Guest House offers bed & breakfast as well as half-board accommodation. Lynton and its twin village Lynmouth are enveloped within the Exmoor National Park and occupy an area of outstanding natural beauty and coastal scenery.

Our guest house lies at the entrance to the Valley of Rocks, it lying just a step or two from our front door. We are a prime choice for walkers travelling the South West Coastal Path, Two-Moors Way and The Tarka Trail. The Coast Path between Lynton and Porlock was a favourite route of Samuel Coleridge, the poet. It is said that gazing down on Lynmouth Harbour inspired him to write "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner".

The Denes is one of "Devon's Hidden Places" and you can discover its Edwardian charms as our previous guests already have. Sally and John extend their warm and friendly greeting to returning guests and newcomers alike.

Highlights
  • Tranquil location.
  • Lynton, where Exmoor meets the Sea.
