Brandling Guest House is a friendly, family run establishment in the favoured district of Jesmond. We are close to Newcastle City centre. The main shopping areas of Northumberland Street and Eldon Square are less than ten minutes walk, as is Haymarket Bus station.
Jesmond Metro Station is five minutes' walk from the guest house with frequent trains to Central Station, the Airport and the Coast.
Also on the Metro line is Kingston Park - the home of Newcastle Falcons Rugby Union Premiership Team; Stadium of Light - home of Sunderland Football club; and St James Park - home of Newcastle United, although the later is only a 15 minute walk from us.
We are only 300 yards from Newcastle University library and the rest of the Campus is within five to ten minutes walk. Northumberland University is also ten minutes walk.
Jesmond is home to a dozen or more first class restaurants of many different nationalities and there is an Italian restaurant as well as two pubs within three minutes walk of the Guest House.

By train or plane
Take the Metro to Jesmond or a taxi after the Metro stops at 2300.
Taxi from Central Station aprox £6 from the airport aprox £14.
By car
Follow signs to Jesmond. The main road through Jesmond is Osborne road.
On Osborne road there are signposts to Clayton Road shops follow that and pass all the shops and take the next left into Brandling Park.
