Jean and Tony look forward to welcoming you to "Iwood", their home, set in well established and beautifully maintained secluded gardens which offer peace and quiet and distant views of South Downs (Beachy Head) and English Channel.
Situated in the small market town of Heathfield which is closely surrounded by the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and in the heart of rolling countryside providing excellent walks to include Ashdown Forest , South Downs and Cuckoo Trail. Also centrally situated for the many local attractions of East Sussex including coastal towns of Eastbourne, Brighton, Hastings (1066 Country) and historic towns of Rye, Lewes, Battle and Royal Tunbridge Wells. A train journey to London takes about an hour.
Also well situated for various National Trust properties including Batemans and Chartwell, historical castles at Bodiam, Lewes, Ightham and Hever, plus the magical Royal Pavilion in Brighton.
We are surrounded by many charming public houses within a short distance and we are within walking distance of Heathfield town centre where there is a good choice of eateries.
