The term peaceful retreat might well have been coined specifically to describe Ardoch Lodge, an early Victorian Scottish country house set in 12 acres of grounds surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery. Attractive spacious rooms in which to relax and enjoy the view. Real log fires to warm you as the evenings draw in towards the end of the year. Fresh flowers, books, maps, guide books all for you to enjoy.

A dinner menu, changed each day, offering a choice of superb fresh local produce that reflects the flavours of the seasons. Breakfasts can be as light or as sustaining as you wish. We use local free range eggs, award winning black pudding, Loch Fyne kippers, homemade marmalade and preserves. Why not try scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. Ardoch Lodge is not licensed and guests are invited to bring their own drinks which we will willingly serve for them at no extra cost.

The three bedrooms are spacious each with its own private bathroom and mountain view. Each is equipped with refreshment facilities, hairdryer, radio, good lighting, soft pillows good toiletries and large soft towels. There is also a laundry room available for guests use.

The 12 acres of grounds include a walled garden, lawns planted with rhododendrons and azaleas, woodland, a wildflower meadow and a riverside walk. Ideal location for walking, bird watching, garden visiting, touring or just relaxing. Many activities available locally golf, cycling and fishing among them.
