Rose Cottage is a two hundred year old cottage situated on the A59 at the gateway to the picturesque Ribble Valley.
Established as a bed & breakfast in 1984 by its present owners. Rose Cottage is ideally suited for walkers and cyclists wishing to take advantage of the area's unspoilt natural beauty. The Yorkshire Dales are also only a 20 minute drive away.
Situated midway between Preston and Clitheroe, just 4 miles north of Blackburn, yet enjoying a rural location. Rose Cottage is ideal for the business person wanting a friendly homely environment. Only five miles from the M6 (J31), we are also an ideal overnight stop for those visiting Scotland.
Off road parking, undercover cycle lock, we also accommodate a limited number of motor bikes with undercover parking.
Each well equipped room has been individually furnished to provide our guests with a comfortable and relaxing visit. We also provide a fridge, trouser press and ironing facilities for guests convenience.
During your visit to Rose Cottage, we will provide you with a hearty English breakfast freshly prepared from local produce, complete with tea or freshly ground coffee.
A lighter, or vegetarian option can be provided upon request. Should you wish to eat out at one of the many fine eating establishments in the area, we will be only too happy to recommend one to you.

Turn right into Showley Road and into the first driveway on your left.
