Frondderw is a 17th century Dower house occupying an elevated position about 10 minutes' scenic walk from Bala high street with its shops and restaurants. Our guest enjoy both the convenience of our location and the peace and quiet of being in the country.
From our terrace our guests are often captivated by the spectacular views over the north end of Bala lake, the Berwyn mountains and Bala itself.
We have, over the last 4 years, upgraded the facilities on offer refurbishing all the bedrooms installing power showers, and new beds. Our guests enjoy two lounges - one with a large inglenook uncovered and restored by us.
Freshly cooked dinners are served by prior request using ingredients sourced from local suppliers; our food is complemented by a wine list that features vintages back to 1975.
