The Well
Built by the Romans as a watering hole for animals on the Crossroads, 100ft deep (50ft to the water and 50ft of water) and lined with stone to 20ft. When the house was originally built in 1810 the well was outside, an extension 100 years later meant the well was within the property and was covered over.
