Secluded, but Not isolated, and nestled against beautiful woodlands in an elevated position, Blenheim Lodge boasts Panoramic views of Lake Windermere and the mountains and fells beyond. Peaceful, non-smoking, with 4 AA stars, we offer en-suite rooms, TV guest lounge, car park, and free country club membership. Many bedrooms have lovely antique furniture and Laura Ashley soft furnishings, which complement this 1868 former gentleman's residence.

Two of our bedrooms, The Coniston and The Langdale, have stunning antique William IV four posters draped with pure silk curtains. These two rooms overlook the lake. Another two rooms, The Dalesway and The Attic, have romantic antique Louis XV beds overlooking the woodlands and the lake respectively, the latter with panoramic lake views. We also have many rooms with beautiful French antique furniture lovingly collected over time. Most of our beds have luxury pocket sprung and handmade mattresses for an excellent night's sleep.

We are the first guest house in Bowness as you come off the Dales Way Walk, just a minute's stroll from our front door, and are only 5 minute's walk to Bowness town, Lake Windermere and the pier. We are walker, golfer, biker, cyclist, and fisherman friendly, with two free WAADA fishing permits on a first come first served basis. We have a drying room as well as outside taps for boots and fish, and more level private parking for bikes. We can also help arrange walking and sightseeing tours, and organize fishing and golfing breaks for you.

Come and relax with us! Take advantage of our proximity to Bowness town (5 mins walk), but relax in peace & quiet: enjoy excellent lake and countryside views from your rooms - but look for the traffic & crowds in vain! If you require a gift voucher for that perfect gift, we will help you organize it for that special person or persons. For the romantic at heart, let us help you celebrate in style with champagne or wine, flowers and luxury chocolates awaiting your arrival!
