Ryelands House is a newly built family home set in its own spacious grounds just outside the village of Potterhanworth, seven miles south east of the historic Cathedral city of Lincoln.
The house commands stunning views of the surrounding countryside and local woodland with their interesting and varied walks. It has a floodlit tennis court and a conservation lake which is a magnet to a variety of wildlife.
Built as part of a modern farm complex the surrounding land has been developed with conservation as a key priority. Cattle and sheep graze in nearby fields and although the family farm is still a working unit over 200 acres have recently been put into the countryside stewardship scheme. Grassland has been replanted, ponds and wetland areas created to create a haven for wildlife and aid the breeding of lapwings and other wading birds.
From your bedroom window you can see that each season brings a new variety of wildlife to the area from marsh harriers, barn owls, geese and ducks to even wild deer drinking at the conservation lake.
