Burkle is family home situated on a working, rare-breeds croft. Here, we are working towards rearing & providing our own rare breed meats & organic vegetables.
We aim to offer a very high standard of accommodation to our guests - our rooms are furnished to a very high standard and all meals are worked around using produce local to the Shetland Isles.
Fair Isle offers a wonderful restful holiday upon one of the most remote of the Scottish Islands, yet it's easily reached by the Island's ferry service, or by plane from Tingwall (Lerwick) Airport on Mainland Shetland.

Fair Isle can be reached via regular flights from Tingwall (Lerwick) Airport on mainland Shetland, or by regular sailings of the island's ferry. The 'Good Shepherd' sails from Grutness on mainland Shetland.
