Barn Cottage Bed & Breakfast offers comfortable, spacious accommodation with wonderful far reaching views, peace and quiet and warm personal attention.
We offer the choice of two charming and luxurious en suite bedrooms, one with a king size bed and one with twin beds.
Both centrally heated rooms have sunny south facing aspects with panoramic views over the Dorset, Devon and Somerset hills.
Both rooms are very comfortably equipped with colour TV/DVD, a radio alarm, hospitality tray, chilled filter water, fresh milk, hairdryer, nice little pots and potions, loads of books, magazines and DVD's and binoculars.
A hearty Barn Cottage breakfast is cooked to order, served as you like it, when you like it. We use fresh, delicious locally sourced good quality food. Most is organic. Vegetarian and special diets can easily be catered for with prior notice.
New for 2007: We now offer Packed Lunches and a Plated Light Supper.
Woolminstone is a hamlet, centrally situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, close to the Monarch and Liberty Walks.
Barn Cottage in Woolminstone is about 2 miles south of Crewkerne along the B3165, off the A30 at Crewkerne.
It is about half an hour along the B3165 to the World Heritage Coastline "The Jurassic Coast" at Lyme Bay, West Bay, Burton Bradstock, Beer, and the beautiful Coastal Pathway.
We are also about half an hour from Yeovil, Westland's, Street (Clarks Village) Glastonbury and many beautiful Ham Stone Villages and National Trust properties.
We are ideally and centrally situated for touring, walking, golf, riding, an over night stop, and a comfortable safe business base.
We provide safe off road parking and secure parking for bikes.
We can provide washing / drying facilities should the weather turn nasty.

At junction at the end of in Market Street by Woolworth's,
follow sign A30 CHARD and then turn IMMEDIATELY left up Hermitage Street (by the take away shop), signed "Lyme Regis B3165".
(If you miss this junction, just do the one way system again)
Drive south out of Crewkerne up past the school, continuing along B3165 for about 2 miles, looking for finger post (on left)
"WOOLMINSTONE" pointing up lane (on right) past white painted house.
Go up the lane crossing the stream, then railway line, look for first cluster of houses and take 2nd drive left and curve round to the right. Welcome to Barn Cottage.
