Keld Farm bed and breakfast accomodation is in the converted granary, of our listed farmhouse which was built in 1766.
It comprises of ensuite family accomodation upstairs with one room with a double and a single bed and a tiny room under the eaves with two single beds.
Downstairs we have an ensuite double room which may be suitable for partly disabled people. This room overlooks the village green. The sitting/breakfast room for guests is also downstairs. All this is separated from the owner's accomodation, by a door leading into our kitchen.
When you arrive we like to welcome you with a tray of tea or coffee and homemade scones and then just come and go as you please as we want you to feel relaxed here.
Newton On Rawcliffe is a small and sleepy, typical North York Moors village, with duckpond, village green, a pub and a five minute walk to a spectacular view over the moors and the steam railway.
There are many wonderful walks, from here, through scenery that hasn't changed for hundreds of years, containing rare flowers, rare butterflies and other species of wildlife too numerous to mention.
York, Scarborough and Whitby are all within easy reach and the area is packed with interesting things to do and see. For fans of Heartbeat, the village of Goathland is twelve miles away over the moors.
