Lynton House Bed and Breakfast is situated in the pretty hamlet of Church End on the edge of Shalford village and is 8 minutes from Braintree and Bocking, 25 minutes from Stansted Airport and 5 minutes from Unex Towerlands Equestrian Centre.
We are also conveniently situated to the local wedding and conference venues of Spains Hall, High Barn, Fennes Estate, Gosfield Hall, Leez Priory and Hedingham Castle and also close to the lovely villages and towns of Shalford, Finchingfield, Great Bardfield Wethersfield, Thaxted Saffron Walden and Halstead.
The bedrooms at Lynton are comfortable, modern, tastefully furnished and decorated and also include electric blankets, tea and coffee making facilities, wash basins, bath robes, towels and toiletries, hairdryers and flatscreen digital televisions with remotes.

From Braintree take the B1053 through Bocking towards Wethersfield and,after 4 miles you will arrive at Church End Shalford. Turn immediate left at the green (by the village hall) and we are 30 metres on the right, opposite the village hall car park.
