Turn off the M6 motorway at Exit 40 and follow the A66 into Keswick, or from the South you can turn off at Exit 36 and follow the A591 through the heart of this most beautiful part of England.
Follow the A591 towards Keswick from Windermere.
Go past the Twa Dogs Pub and BP Garage (both on the left hand side), pass under a railway bridge until you see a big house on your left with Millfield written on the side; turn left just before Millfield into Blencathra Street and follow the road round to the right; 2/3 of the way down the street on the left opposite the hairdressers is Heatherlea.
