Sarum Heights is a warm and welcoming family run bed and breakfast in a detached 1930's house, set in an elevated position on the A345 Salisbury to Amesbury Road, just 1.5 miles from the centre of the historic medieval City of Salisbury. The ancient monument of Stonehenge is just 8 miles away and the abundance of local attractions are within easy reach.
The house itself is almost opposite Old Sarum Castle,(Old Salisbury), a massive Iron Age hill fort used by the Romans, Saxons and Normans, now a site containing the ruins of a castle, cathedral and royal palace.
The double and twin rooms at the front of the house have panoramic views of the Avon valley and Old Sarum and have en-suite modern shower rooms. The double room has space to accommodate a fold up bed for a young child should it be required. The single room situated at the rear of the house enjoys a peaceful view of the garden and has a private, modern shower room next to it. All rooms are comfortably furnished with tea/coffee making facilities and TVs.
The delicious English breakfast with homemade bread and preserves is served in the large family kitchen overlooking the garden.
Private parking is easily accessable on arrival at the front of the house and a local bus service and a Park and Ride facility are very close by.
