Thorne Cottage is situated 3 miles from the centre of Yeovil in Somerset. We are located in a small peaceful hamlet with no through traffic. We are conveniently close to many major employers in the area for people who may need long term accommodation.
We are within easy reach of many major attractions in this area and within 1 hour from several major cities ie Bath, Bristol, Exeter and Salisbury.

We have a large furnished garden for guests use and ample free private off road parking. A lockup garage is available for safe storage of bikes and other outdoor equipment.
We provide a full cooked English Breakfast every day which is included in the room rate.
There are many pubs and restaurants in the area, the closet is 0.5 miles walking and serves food all day.
Ideally it is best to have a car here as there is no close public transport.
We have been in the business for 20 years and constantly strive to improve and upgrade our standards for your comfort.
There is colout TV and a DVD player in all bedrooms with a selection of films for guests to enjoy.
We have full laundry facilities for a nominal charge.

Directions
From North (M5):
Leave M5 at exit 25 (Taunton) and follow A358 to Ilminster and join the A303 (east - London). At Cartgate roundabout (after signs for Martock & Stoke) turn right along A3088 towards Yeovil. After about 4 miles turn left at first roundabout, then go straight on at the next 3 roundabouts and straight up Western Avenue.
At the T-junction turn left, then next right (about 100 yds) down into the village of Thorne. Just before the gate across the road, take the last drive on the right side. Come to the top of the drive where this safe private parking.
From East (A303):
Leave M3 at exit 8 (Popham) and join A303. At Ilchester join A37 (south) towards Yeovil. After approx. 4 miles (coming up a hill) turn right at roundabout, sign posted Thorne. Continue along this road, over a double mini-roundabout onto Thorne Lane
Continue over a second mini-roundabout then turn next right down into the village of Thorne. Just before the gate across the road, take the last drive on the right side.
From South (A37):
Take the A37 from Dorchester. Enter Yeovil & join A30 at mini-roundabout (opposite 'Quicksilver Mail' Pub). Turn left and continue along West Coker Road (A30) to the next roundabout, take second exit and go down the hill. At next roundabout take first exit (left) and then go straight on at the next four roundabouts and go straight up Western Avenue.
At the T-junction turn left, and then right down into the village of Thorne. Just before the gate across the road take the last drive on the right side.
