So convenient for the ferries to Ireland the licensed Cairnryan House (built 1894) is only 400 metres from the P&O Cairnryan terminal and a 5 minute drive to the Stena Stranraer terminal. Our lochside location offers uninterrupted view across Loch Ryan, with great views of sea birds and ferries that sail by in front of your bedroom window!

We have a large car park for up to 10 vehicles that is lit at night.

Accommodation is made up of 4 Double, 3 Twins, 3 Singles and 2 family rooms, all en-suite and furnished to a high standard with courtesy tea and coffee trays and satellite TV. For those who are unable to climb stairs we have a ground floor double room with a level entry.

Also on the ground floor is a Guest Lounge with Wifi internet access and a large garden in front of the loch with outdoor seating where you can enjoy the views with a beer or bottle of wine.
If you are holidaying in the area, we have a good local knowledge and numerous leaflets on the area, adjoining Ayrshire, Belfast and further afield.

Breakfasts are freshly cooked using local produce and evening meals are available by prior arrangement.

For business stopovers some of our rooms also have a working desk. For those working in the area we can offer long term rates.

Within a short drive of Cairnryan are a number of beautiful gardens protected by the warm gulf stream that frequents the area, forest walks and nature reserves. A Royal Society for the Protection of Birds member we are just five minutes walk to the bird watching area at Cairn Point frequented by many seeking a view of the King Eider and other rare seabirds.
