The Cornhouse is a beautiful 18th century country house. A friendly welcome awaits you. We aim to make your stay here both comfortable and enjoyable.
The rooms are tastefully decorated with private ensuites, 21 inch LCD TV, Freeview, WIFI internet.
Breakfast is served in our characteristic dining room, which overlooks the garden, between 7.30am and 9.30am.
The menu includes fruit juice, cereals and fresh fruit. Full English or Irish breakfasts, which are made with fresh local produce. There is also a choice of vegetarian dishes.
The Cornhouse has its own vaulted indoor swimming pool, also a gymnasium with shower and changing rooms.
Outside the garden area provides a hot tub, decking seating area and patio barbeque area, it is the perfect place for entertaining or simply relaxing.
There is private parking.
The Cornhouse is an ideal base from which to go off and visit the West Country. Within easy reach is the city of Wells and the attractions of Glastonbury, Stonehenge, Longleat Safari Park and the two famous caves, Wookey Hole and Cheddar.
Only 6 miles away is the beautiful city of Bath, which is full of sheer delight, one of them being the Roman Baths hot springs and healing waters, which have been famous for over 2,000 years.
