Newcastle/Gateshead, the Metro Centre and A1M all within easy travelling distance. This an excellent base for Touring Northumbria and The Northern Dales.

Travelling from the South or North on the AIM:
Leave the Motorway at Junction 63 for Chester-Le-Street taking the A167 for Chester-le-Street & Durham. At next Roundabout take the B6313 To Chester-le-Street, straight over Traffic Lights to Pelton Fell & Waldridge. You pass Tesco's on your left and travel for approx half a mile bearing left to Waldridge.
Travel for approx 1 mile up Whitehill Way turning Right at Roundabout following signs to Waldridge.
Travel through the Waldridge Village bearing right for approx 1 mile when you come to Edmondsley Cross Roads, straight over following signs to Lanchester and Burnhope and travel for approx 1 mile when you come to the Holmside T Junction. Turn Left for about 100 yards and OAK COTTAGE is on your left
