Holtwood is a brand new house designed and built by the family. It is set in 1/2 acre on the edge of the National Park with views of the Black Mountains to the front and farmland to the rear.
We are ideally situated to explore South Wales, the National Park and the Gower. Whether driving, walking or cycling you will find lots to see and do. Of course if its peace and quiet you crave we can do that too. We have a guest sitting room for you to relax and enjoy music or TV and it is here we serve afternoon tea if you require it.
The rooms are bright and airy with comfortable seating, TV tea/coffee making facilities, radio alarm and hairdryer. All en-suite with shaver point heated towel rail etc.
The double rooms have bath/shower the twin has shower. All showers are mains pressure with constant hot water. Iron and ironing board are available and facilities to dry clothes should the need arise.
Breakfast is served in the dining room, which has beautiful views of the mountains. On the sideboard you will find fruit juice, fruit, cereal, fresh rolls, toast, marmalade, jam (organic)for you to help yourself. There is a choice of full English (organic) or continental breakfast. Vegetarian is available if requested the day before or when booking. We try to buy locally if possible and our eggs are always free range.
Some eat to live here we live to eat.
There are a number of pubs and restaurants within a short distance which serve lunch and dinner.
The garden: Not Yet!!! Hopefully this spring summer it will be done. Last years weather the clay soil and being on a slope made it far too dangerous on a digger.
Plenty of off road parking and bikes etc can go in the garage.
Sorry we do not accept children.

From junction 45 take the A4067 approaching Pontadawe you will pick up the sign for Ystradgynlais. As you approach the centre cross road in Ystradgynlais make a left (its one way) this is Station road carry on up the winding hill to the mini roundabout look left you will see a cream house set back from the road.
