Directions
Ardeer is located just over an hour away from Glasgow. To reach Ardeer from Glasgow, simply follow the M8 westbound on to the A8 heading for Greenock. After Greenock take the A770 to Gourock, where there are regular ferry crossings to Dunoon. The ferries are operated by Caledonian MacBrayne and Western Ferries from both Gourock and McInroy's Point respectively. Caledonian MacBrayne sail to Dunoon Town and Western Ferries sail to Hunters Quay. From either location turn left as you leave the Ferry Embarkation/Disembarkation area and take the A815 to Innellan. Trinity Lane/Ardeer Bed & Breakfast is on the Right hand side just before the sign for the Bowling/Tennis Club.
If you are not keen on ferries then you can get to Innellan by road from Glasgow either via the Clyde Tunnel or the Erskine Bridge
If taking the Erskine Bridge, once the bridge is crossed, follow the Arrochar signs. Turn left to Arrochar at Tarbet. Continue through Arrochar to 'Rest and be Thankful' then take the left turn marked Dunoon. Continue down the side of Loch Fyne to Strachur, turn left still following signs for Dunoon, pass Benmore Botanical Gardens, at the Holy Loch Restaurant/Pub turn left taking the Dunoon sign and follow the shore road all the way through Dunoon and follow the signs to Innellan. Trinity Lane/Ardeer Bed & Breakfast is on the Right hand side just before the sign for the Bowling/Tennis Club.
