Burr Tree Cottage has a delightful cottage annex full of old world charm and character with excellent accommodation and guests own lounge separate from owners accommodation.
It is set in picturesque countryside, designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, two miles from the small historic market town of Kirkby Lonsdale, located in the beautiful Lune valley and well known for good restaurants and pubs.
We are on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and a short drive from the Lake District, making it ideal for sight-seeing, walking and cycling. For the more adventurous there is also caving and pot-holing in the vicinity.
Our facilities include off road parking, TV and video in guests lounge, TV in bedrooms, tea/coffee making facilities, centrally heated, log burning stove, excellent English or continental breakfasts, children welcome.
Sorry but no smoking or pets.
Cowan Bridge is the location for what was the school for the daughters of the clergy, attended by the Bronte sisters. Now a row of three cottages.
