"Bacchus" is a large modern house situated in a quiet private road, in the popular old fishing port of Mevagissey in Cornwall. We have furnished and decorated Bacchus to a very high standard and offer you excellent accommodation at a very reasonable cost. There is a Breakfast and Patio area for guests only, with stunning views over the sea/harbour.
Breakfast Buffet-style includes ham, cheese, tomatoes, eggs boiled to your liking, grapefruit, orange juice, cereals yogurts, toast, preserves, tea/coffee and is available between 8.00am and 10.00am.
Guests rooms are totally separate from the private accommodation and comprise of three en-suite bedrooms, all equipped with television, refreshment tray and hair dryer. Both twin or king-size beds are available.
Bacchus is very central to almost all of Cornwall's main attractions. It is 25 minutes drive to the famous Eden Project and only 30 minutes walk or 5 minutes drive to the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Guests would also find it easy to visit Lanhydrock House, Newquay, Truro (all within 30 minutes drive). The Tall ships and Maritime Heritate Centre at Charlestown is 20 minutes drive or can be reached by one of the main coastal walks.
Many Guests walk in the evening and enjoy a meal or drink in one of the many restaurants and pubs in the area.
The village offers a wide variety of shops, restaurants, take-aways, pubs and tea rooms.
There are a number of pastimes to be enjoyed, ranging from fishing for mackerel, pollock and mullet from either the harbour wall or deep-sea trips.
There is a Passenger Ferry to Fowey in the summer months, which allows you to take-in local headlands and beaches.
Boat hire is also available.

Directions
On entering Mevagissey you will see a large car park on your left and a bus stop on your right. Immediately aftr the bus stop turn right, then immediately right again, go up the hill to the left of Ava House. Continue to keep left all the way to the end of the road where you will see Bacchus B&B's private driveway.
