Stephen and Julie welcome you to The Waverley:

The Waverley has been offering travellers quality accommodation, since it was built as a guest house in 1898.

We aim to offer the best facilities available in Whitby at an affordable price and we are recommended on Trip Advisor, check out the reviews.

All of our rooms are en-suite except our single room, which has private facilities across the landing.

The Waverley is situated on Whitby's famous West Cliff and therefore conveniently positioned for the promenade, beach, town centre, harbour and shops. We are also close to Whitby Pavilion, handy for many events.

Within a 10-15 minute stroll, you can be in the old town, where there are many interesting shops, selling all kinds of goods from Whitby Jet, to specialist chocolates, from kippers to jewellery, clothes and much more.

You can also visit the world famous Sutcliffe Gallery and see photos from days gone by and even have your photo taken wearing various clothes from yester-year.

Our guest comments say all that is necessary, take a look.

Don't just take their word for it, come and see for yourself, why many think we are the best B and B in Whitby.
