We are the only B and B in Kielder village.

Directions
By vehicle from the east of England:
Head for Newcastle upon Tyne on the A1. You will see signs for Hexham and the A69, which you will follow until just past Hexham turning right off the dual carriageway signed towards Acomb and Chollerford A6079.
Follow the road through Acomb village, Wall village and through to Chollerford, where brown tourist information signs start signalling the way to 'Kielder Water and Kielder Forest'.
Once at Kielder Water and you can see the dam, follow the C200 for about 8 miles to Kielder village, where Station Garage is clearly seen on the left.
Take the next right turn into Castle Drive. 'Twenty seven' is near the end of the street on the right, opposite the Village Store.

From the west of England/south of Scotland:
Aim for junction 44 on the M6 by Carlisle. Turn off the M6 here and follow the A7 through Longtown.
On approaching the next village of Canonbie, there are brown tourist information signs marking the route through to Kielder.
This route takes you through many country roads and is approximately one hour in journey time from Carlisle.
Eventually you will come to Kielder village. On entering the village after passing the church on your right, you will cross a small bridge, take the next left turn into Castle Drive.
Twenty seven is near the end of the street on the right opposite the Village Store.


Public Transport Directions

Reaching Kielder by Public Transport: Is not straightforward. There is a daily direct service by Postbus from Hexham (via Bellingham).Visit www.royalmail.com/port/rm/postbus.
At weekends during the summer, the Kielder Bus (service no. 714 Arriva) runs a morning service between the Metro Centre and Kielder village, returning late afternoon.

Pricing and Opening Times
Seasons Open: Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter.

Our prices for 2008 are:
Standard Room (with shared bathroom) : £30.00 per person per night.
Luxury Room (en-suite shower/toilet) : £32.00 per person per night.
Based on two people sharing.
We make no extra charge for well behaved dogs.


We are open all year round for B and B, except for Christmas and New Year.

Normal check in is 3pm onwards and check out by 10am.
