Barbara will be sure to welcome you to her home which is set in the picturesque market town of Dolgellau situated in the heart of Wales' Snowdonia National Park, Coed Y Brenin cycle track and near to Cader Idris mountain.

Aber Cottage is a listed Traditionl Welsh stone cottage which is furnished throughout with quality furniture and fittings. All guest rooms have en-suite facilities, TV's and refreshment trays.

There is secure locked parking for cars/bikes and a decking area with seating for your enjoyment-weather permitting!

Guests will enjoy a hearty Welsh breakfast in the Tea Room/breakfast room/Art Gallery featuring all of Barbara's original art work.

The guest house is situated very conveniently for walkers and bikers alike, having numerous popular walks nearby so you wouldn't have to move your car from the guest house if you prefer not to. Coed Y Brenin is only 10 minutes away by car or 20 to 30 minutes by bike - depending on your fitness!

Dolgellau town offers a number of good restaurants and bars to spend your evening.

Directions
You can reach Aber Cottage Gallery Dolgellau by following the A470 whichever direction you come. Exit the A470 at the Dolgellau sign (second one if coming from the South) and follow the Town Centre Signs. The latter signs follow the Police Station or Somerfield supermarket depending on the direction you come from. At the Town Centre sign cross the river and branch left following the one way system. You will see directly on your left a blue fronted stone cottage slightly before a launderette. On the left there is an alley (between the magistrates court and Aber Cottage) which you should enter and immediately on your right are some blue gates into our private car park. If you ring us shortly before arrival we will open them for you.
