We are only a short drive from a choice of public houses, offering excellent evening meals and afterwards you could stroll down to the river Derwent.
It is only four miles to the Park and Ride, which takes the hassle out of parking in York.
Being near the City of York, enables you to spend all day in the city with its many attractions, or you could drive into the country visiting some of the lovely villages in the area.
For the evening, there are two theatres and a cinema, or you could scare yourself on a ghost tour of York.
We are only three miles from the village of Elvington, where you can find the Yorkshire Air Museum, with a collection of historic aircraft, or if you prefer to shop, the York Designer Outlet is only a short drive away.
The local Tourist Information Centres are brimming with information to help you have a wonderful stay.
