Periwinkle Cottage is a character cottage, located just outside the village of Wix, not far from the busy seaport of Harwich.
The house sits amongst approximately one acre of well tended gardens and is surrounded by arable farmland, providing a quiet escape into the countryside and away from the busy towns.
We are approx ten minutes from Harwich and within a minite of the main trunk route, both into London (which is approx 1 hour away) and for the rest of the country.
We have three rooms available for guests, all include private en-suite bathroom, TV/DVD and tea/coffee making facilities.
A private guest sitting room is available, where a well stocked library is provided, from which guests are welcome to read.
Periwinkle Cottage offers ample off-road parking and guests are welcome to make full use of the gardens throughout their stay.
The area also offers an abundance of wildlife and many enjoyable walks criss-cross the region.

Take A120 towards Colchester.
After approx 8 miles, take the left hand turning (just before the Horsley cross roundabout) signposted Wix.
Periwinkle Cottage is the first house on the left.
From COLCHESTER
Take A120 towards Harwich. After approx 8 miles upon reaching Horsley Cross roundabout continue straight on towards Harwich, take the first turning on the right signposted WIX. Periwinkle Cottage is the first house on the left.
