Hermitage Court Farm is located on the south side of the Isle
of Wight, nestled on St Catherines Down.
Set in ten acres of downland bordering National Trust land and enjoying some of the most spectacular views possible, of the English countryside.
The Farmhouse is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty;there are bridleways and footpaths crossing the property, so there is direct access to over 100 miles of the finest footpaths and mountain bike trails in the country.

The nearby picturesque village of Godshill, is famous for its
cream teas, thatched Pubs and Restaurants.
The coastal towns of Sandown, Shanklin and Ventnor with their glorious beaches and cliff walks are just a short drive away.

Directions to Hermitage Court Farm from Fishbourne:
On disembarking turn right out of terminal.
Turn right at traffic lights and follow signs to Newport.
At Newport keep to the left on the one-way system and take road signposted for Sandown.
After nearly 2 miles, take turning on right signposted Godshill. After 1.5 miles you will come to Rookley.
At Rookley Village green fork right on to the Niton Road.
Follow this road for nearly 3 miles, until you see a small signpost pointing to "Hermitage".
Turn right into "Shiny Bricks Lane" Follow this road for just under a quarter of a mile and take the 1st turning on the left Dolcoppice Lane.
At end of road turn right up 'Private' road and continue uphill - road is bumpy - watch out for badgers at night - until road levels. Then take the right fork past the Hermitage Country House, through the woods, until you come to the white gates, signposted Downcourt Manor and Hermitage Court Farm.
Go through the gates and Hermitage Court Farm is 1/2 mile on the right. We are the red tiled farmhouse on the right hand side.
Directions to Hermitage Court Farm from Yarmouth:
At roundabout turn right over bridge towards Totland and Freshwater. After nearly 3 miles turn left to Freshwater (A3055). Stay on this road through Freshwater and along the coastal road for about 10 miles until you come to Chale. Turn left at Chale church on B3399 through to Chale Green. Pass Chale Green post office (which will be on the right hand side of the road) and continue on this road for just over 1 mile and take 2nd turning on the right (Appleford Lane) Follow Appleford Lane for half a mile and turn 1st right into Dolcoppice Lane. At end of road turn right up 'Private' road.
