Coastguard House is situated in the historic 18th century village of Charlestown, which has a working port.
A number of sailing ships are frequently moored in the harbour and the area has been the location for a number of period dramas for film and television.
Charlestown is an ideal base from which to explore Cornwall; situated on the south coast of Cornwall, just over a mile from St. Austell, within easy reach of the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan.
Our bedrooms have en-suite with shower, wash basin and WC and provide magnificent sea views; there is a choice of twin beds or double beds.
TV, tea and coffee making facilities are provided in each room.
Breakfast is the only meal provided, however there are a number of excellent restaurants within walking distance.
Coastguards has ample car parking facilities for guests.

Charlestown is situated off the A390 to the South East of St. Austell and is well sign posted:
Follow the directions to Charlestown, then proceed down the hill and past the Rashliegh Arms public house and on to the Western (right hand) side of the harbour.
Coastguard House is situated on the cliff top, behind the Harbourside Inn and the Pier House Hotel; it is is reached by a private road, Coastguard Lane, which is on the right immediately before the Harbourside Inn.
