Glebe House provides really comfortable "home from home" accommodation; it is the oldest dwelling in the ancient settlement of Kingsnympton.

Next door to the church it has views across to Dartmoor from the large garden, which residents are encouraged to use.

Pick-ups can be arranged from the local market town of Southmolton (if you come by bus) or from Kingsnypton, Eggesford or Barnstaple Stations.

It is a wonderfully tranquil location and you can imagine that you step back in time as you arrive. Glebe House is only two minutes walk from the award winning local pub, which is famous for its fine wines and local cuisine.

We provide maps for those who wish to walk on Exmoor, or explore the Tarka Trail (the film "Tarka the Otter" was made within the parish of Kingsnympton.

Exmoor is only 15 minutes away by car and Dartmoor can be reached in about 35 minutes.(See website for details).

Kingsnympton is not on the road to anywhere, so there is little through traffic; you will sleep well!

It is said thet R.D.Blackmoor, the author of Lorna Doone once lived in Glebe House.

We provide a sitting-room for residents and kitchen facilities if you want to cook yourself a snack.
