Directions
From the South:
On A1 follow City Bypass A720 to "Sheriffhall" roundabout.
Then take the route for city centre A7 (Old Dalkeith Road) to the roundabout at "Cameron Toll" Shopping Centre.
Continue to follow signs for city centre, on to Dalkeith Road and Kilmaurs Terrace is the 5th road on your right. From Edinburgh Airport By car:
Follow the signs for City Bypass A720... (then same as above). By bus:
Airport Bus (£5 return) to Waverley Station then go on to Princes Street and get a public bus No. 30 or 33 going South.
Get off two stops after Royal Commonwealth Swimming Pool, Kilmaurs Terrace is the first on your left. By taxi:
The trip is about 40 minutes and the cost is around £18. From Glasgow and the West:
Follow the M8 or the M9/M90 East to the Newbridge Roundabout.
Then follow the signs for the City By-pass South and East (A720) and proceed as above. From Glasgow (as well as from all major Scottish towns and cities):
There are regular trains and rail links to Edinburgh. Taxi direct from Glasgow Airport to the Guest House, can be arranged through Glasgow Airport Millennium Taxis.
