Balyett is ideally located between the Ferry terminal's of Stranraer and Cairnryan, for sailings to Belfast and Larne ,where we offer very peaceful and comfortable accommodation.
We are happy to accept guests who arrive late in the evening, or in the early morning from the Stranraer or Cairnryan ferries and we offer a pick up / drop off service for guests arriving by train, coach or ferry.

The King Size Room overlooking the Loch.
If you like a big bed and a double shower plus a view over the Loch to the front and open countryside to the side, then, this is the room for you. Beautifully decorated in rich autumn colours, the King size room also has an antique sideboard.
The Family Room overlooking the Loch
Sitting at the table in the window overlooking the gardens and the Loch, you will be inspired to write your postcards from Scotland or plan your itinerary for the next days travel. The room is furnished with oak solid wood furniture, consisting of a dressing table and wardrobe that has been handed down through the family.
Our family room sleeps 4 comfortably with a double and 2 singles (cots are available); it has an en-suite shower and loo.
All rooms have tea and coffee and decanters with sherry for a nightcap.
Family Cabin - As well as our bedrooms in the Bed and breakfast we have a Family cabin, ideal for families who require their own living area, this comprises of a bedroom with a double bed and three single adult bunk beds, a kitchen come sitting area, and a bathroom with a shower, a fully stocked breakfast basket is supplied, or you can opt for the self catering option.
We have our own supply of free range eggs for breakfast.
