Thurlestone Lodge is a large, stone Victorian family house, set back from the road in a quiet position with plenty of parking; it stands within its own landscaped gardens and has been the home of Val and Nigel for over 30 years.
Although extensively renovated and updated, we have tried to keep the sense of space and graciousness inherent in Victorian houses.
This is a small family run B&B and our aim is to create an informal and friendly atmosphere.
Guests tell us that the beds are wonderfully comfortable and the rooms have colour-coordinated furnishings and linen.
The en-suite shower rooms, likewise, have tiles and colours designed to be complementary to the bedrooms and are equipped with high quality modern sanitary ware. Wi-fi Internet access is available for your laptop.
For breakfast you can choose a full English menu that should provide an energising start to your day, or a lighter more Continental style and this is taken in the dining room, which has retained all the elegance of the Victorian era.
A 10-minute walk past the cricket ground, will take you into the centre of Corsham, where you can find an excellent selection of eating-places.
