Buccleuch House is a Grade B Listed Georgian Town House, occupying a prime position in the centre of Melrose. It is believed to have been built for the Provost of Melrose, before becoming a boarding house for nearby St Mary's Prep School.
It has been privately owned since 1992 and its current incarnation is an elegant and spacious, yet supremely comfortable family house.
Melrose is well placed for Fishing, Shooting, Walking, Riding and Cycling. It is a mere five minute walk to the River Tweed, or to the foot of the Eildon Hills.
We can store your rods, guns and bicycles (and dry your clothes on the Aga if necessary!) and provide seasonal packed lunches if required.
We can also help you to arrange any of the above.
All rooms have Tea and Coffee, TV, Wireless Broadband, Heaters and Hairdryers.
