We are close to the start of the Camel Trail, a delightful cycle ride or walk from Bodmin to Padstow passing though Wadebridge. Even closer is a Sustrans cycle route, which can take you to Lanhydrock House, just a small part of the Cornish Way covering 180 miles from Lands End to Bude.

Cardinham Woods only 3 miles away, has a cycle route and if walking is more your thing, there are 4 woodland walks. The All Saints Way from Padstow to Fowey. This walk really gives you a chance to sample everything Cornwall has to offer. The Copper Trail is a new circular walk on Bodmin Moor, taking in Neolithic stone circles, the cheese ring and hidden valleys with ancient moor land.

Or why not visit the famous Jamaica Inn, for that atmospheric local inn experience. For the more adventurous you can go canoeing in Fowey, Lerryn or Lostwithiel. Learn to surf at either Polzeath or Newquay or scuba dive in Looe.
