Our family run guest house offers superb accommodation set within a very quiet area very close to the centre of Windermere village, within easy walking distance of the train/bus station and many of its shops, restaurants and bars.
Our comfortable modern en-suite rooms provide a perfect base, for you to explore the many delights that only the English Lake District has to offer.
For that extra special touch, please contact us in advance to arrange any surprise extras you would like to be in your room, for your arrival. Perhaps Champagne and strawberries for a honeymoon celebration, or flowers and chocolates for that special birthday or anniversary.
Our six guest bedrooms, 5 en-suites and one with private facilities, offer a quiet, comfortable and relaxing environment, perfect for unwinding after a busy day, indulging in all that the wonderful Lake District has to offer.
All of our rooms have hairdryers, televisions, DVD players and tea and coffee making facilities. There is also a refrigerator in every room except the single.
Breakfasts are served in our dining room, please let us know in advance about any special dietary needs (Vegetarian, coeliac, wheat intolerance etc.) so we can ensure a varied selection is always available for you.

Upon reaching Windermere village follow the one way system, then take the second left after the pedestrian crossing (Ellerthwaite Road). Ellerdene Guest House is on your right opposite Holly Road.
Double room prices range from: £28.00-£34.00 (per person per night) based on two people sharing, depending on room and season.
We also have family rooms and a single.
Single occupancy of a double room is the room rate minus £10.00.
