Holmwood is a family run guest house.
Holmwood is situated only 300 yards from the glorious Newquay beaches, and only a ten minute walk in to the town.
We are also very close to the zoo and boating lake.
We are in an ideal location for exploring Cornwall.
Tolcarne beach is just at the top of the road, a short three minute walk.
From this beach at low tide you can walk along the coast to the harbour.
There are plenty of shops and places to eat in the town centre and there are many bars and clubs for the night owls.
All the sights of Cornwall are within easy reach, just a short drive away.
If without transport there is a good local bus service that covers all of Cornwall so sightseeing is not a problem.
For those who enjoy water sports, Fistral beach is the place as surfers from all over the world come here for the surfing.
In August the Relentless Boardmasters competition is held.
Not far away at Watergate bay is Jamie Oliver's restaurant "15" or a little further away in Padstow, Rick Stein has his famous restaurant.
The Eden Project is only 16 miles away with a good bus service from Newquay.
Holmwood is situated right on the edge of the town so nothing is too far away.
