Welcome to our beautiful 17th Century Grade 11* Listed house, situated off the A37 between Bath, Bristol and Wells.
The Old Parsonage is very conveniently placed for both the business traveller and tourist visiting the West Country.
We are within half an hours drive of Bristol, Bath, Wells, Glastonbury, Cheddar, Wookey Hole, Longleat Safari Park and Stourhead to name but a few.
We are situated on the edge of the Mendip Hills an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
There are plenty of footpaths for walking and also a village pub, farm shop and golf course.
We can be easily reached by public transport and there is ample private off street parking.
We have three beautifully decorated guest bedrooms.
All rooms have en suite facilities.
Two of the rooms have four poster beds and the third, a hand carved French bed.
The house is furnished with a fascinating collection of antique furniture.
All rooms have tea/coffee making facilities and TV with DVD and WiFi.
Guests have their own large sitting room and can enjoy a freshly cooked traditional English breakfast with home-made bread in the beautiful beamed dining room.
There is an excellent choice of country pubs and restaurants locally, most using wonderful local produce including Somerset cheese, cider, lamb and beef.
There is no need to travel far for a delicious meal.
We also run The Natural Beauty Clinic in the courtyard offering beauty treatments and a range of Organic beauty products.
All accommodation is no smoking but we have a covered smoking area in the courtyard and guests are welcome to sit out in our garden.
