Wyndward is the family home of the owner and was built in the 1960's.

The situation of the property affords magnificent views over the Thames Valley into the Cotswolds.

Both bedrooms open onto a large balcony with access down to the swimming pool.

Furnished to a high standard there is tea/coffee facilities and TV.

Parking is off road and safe.

The produce for the full English breakfast is as far as possible locally sourced.

The natural border with Gloucestershire is the river Thames some 1/2 mile from the property.

Hannington is an attractive small village set in beautiful rural countryside.

Bridle paths surround the village.

There are two pubs where food is served and there is a local point of interest in the 14th century church of St John The Baptist.

Being so close to the Cotswolds makes Wyndward a peaceful, relaxing and comfortable base for touring both the Cotswolds and the ancient historic sites of North Wiltshire.

These sites include the White Horse Hill, The stones at Avebury and further afield Marlborough, Devizes and Lacock.

Cirencester is a must with its Roman association, Stroud and on into the Forest of Dean, the scenery is a sheer delight.

Nearby Swindon is famous for its Steam Railway Museum and the huge Retail Outlet Village.

Three miles away is the small town of Highworth with restaurants and public houses catering for most tastes, there are also Indian and Chinese restaurants.

Lechlade, Burford, Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the- Wold all feature and are within easy reach.

Directions
From M4 Junction 15 take the A419 to Blunsdon Turnpike, then take the B4019 to Highworth and Hannington.
Three miles along the B4019 take the turn at The Freke Arms to Hannington.
Drive through the village past the Jolly Tar Public House, then 200 yards further on take the right turn into Nell Hill.
150 yards over the brow of the Hill on the left hand side is 'Wyndward'
