The Laurels is a small family run business, offering a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
We operate from a lovely old farmhouse, parts of which date back to the 18th century.
The whole house has undergone major restoration and now combines luxurious new bath and shower rooms with much of the original character maintained.
We are located in the friendly village setting of Winford with our local pub and Village store/Post office within easy walking distance.
Situated only 1.5 miles from Bristol airport but in the midst of the stunning Chew valley, with its lakes and many good walking areas.
Within easy reach of Bath, Bristol, Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole and the picturesque city of Wells with its historic cathedral.
A perfect location whether visiting for business or pleasure.
Our check in time is between 4.00pm and 7.00pm.
Outside these hours is by prior arrangement.
We ask that you vacate your room by 10.30am.
We are a Bed and Breakfast, so unlike a hotel we are normally closed between 10.30am and 4.00pm.
We can offer airport parking to our residents at £25 per week, by prior arrangement, and are happy to provide free airport transfers to guests leaving their vehicles with us.
As a Private House guests should be aware that our doors are locked at midnight.
This obviously does not apply to travellers experiencing delays.
In these circumstances,however, we would always expect a phone call.

Directions
From Bristol, leave city on A38 to Bridgewater.
Approximately 5 miles from Bristol take turning to left signposted Winford.
1 mile down on left hand side you will come to the Prince of Waterloo
public House.
Turn left immediately in front of pub,
You will find The Laurels 200yards further on on the left.
From Bath, come through to the A37.
At roundabout on A37 turn right, staying on the A37 head for
Pensford, go right through village and up steep hill, as hill
levels off take turning on left to Chew Magna.
Go right through Chew Magna village, proceed on same road
for approximately 4 miles, you will enter Winford,
Go down High street, you will see Prince of Waterloo public
house on right hand side, turn immediately in front of pub,
You will find The Laurels 200yards further on on the left.

Rates are per room and inclusive of full English home cooked breakfast,(a lighter option is available if preferred) which is served between 7am and 9am.
There is a packed breakfast option for people on very early flights
Payment must be by cheque (payable in advance) or cash, we do not have card facilities.
We ask for a deposit when booking a room. This is for both your and our peace of mind. This deposit is returnable should you cancel more than four weeks ahead of your booking. However if we are able to re-let your room after this time your deposit will be returned.
